Lady Cards sweep Falkner in playoffs

The Potts Camp softball team won a pair of three-run games versus Falkner at home Friday to advance in the Class 1A playoffs.

“My players were focused and ready to prove that they came to play in the first round of the playoffs,” coach Dee Blakeney said. “They knew what the task was and played as a team and came out with the wins.”

Next up for the Lady Cardinals (7-8) is a best-of-three series this week versus Biggersville. The winner will face the survivor of the Smithville-Pine Grove series on April 30-May 1.
