Lady Cardinals knock off Myrtle

The Potts Camp Lady Cardinals started district play Friday night on a winning note.

They visited Myrtle and left with a 55-38 victory over the Lady Hawks in Region 2-1A.

Coach Brad Wren’s team actually trailed by one, 19-18, at halftime but came out of the break on a mission.

The Lady Cards outscored Myrtle 18-11 in the third quarter and 19-8 in the fourth to win by 17.
