Lady Bearcats Enact Revenge On Eagles In High-Scoring Thriller

The Rust College women's basketball program got Texas A&M Texarkana back from its defeat on Friday, Nov. 18, handing TAMUT its first loss of the season, 86-81 Tuesday, Nov. 22.

India Green and Ahmari Young tied for the game-high scoring output with 15 apiece, combining for ten boards and three assists as well.

The queen of double-doubles was at it again as Katie Blackmon, a junior, from Olive Branch, produced a game-best 12 rebounds plus ten points while leading the team in steals with three and blocking the only shot of the night for Rust College.

Shuntorri Rodgers, a junior from Minden, LA, was able to break the double-digit threshold with 11, Amelya Hatch, a junior from Ridgeland, dropped nine points and a contest-best five assists, and Niya McGuire was a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor with nine points to finish off the notables for Head Coach Eric Jackson Jr.
