Indians sweep Rosa Fort in three-game series

On March 28 the Byhalia Indians completed a threegame sweep over the Rosa Fort Lions after a four-game losing streak.

The Indians won game one by with a score 3-0, game two by 17-2, and game three by 20. The Indians feel good about returning to the winning column after a small losing skid.

“It’s great to get two wins after a four-game skid,” Byhalia head coach Jason Gammons said. “Last week’s performances brought the team’s confidence level back.”

The Indians will be on the home field to continue the momentum to take on the South Pontotoc Cougars at 7 p.m., Tuesday. The Cougars has had an incredible season with a 13-3 record.

The Indians will challenge the Cougars again on Friday, April 5, at South Pontotoc.

Next Tuesday, the Byhalia Indians will travel to New Albany to take on the Bulldogs.
