Indians split with Rosa Fort

Coach Hunter Gore said his young baseball team learned a valuable lesson last week.

On a day when Byhalia needed a sweep, it managed just one win versus District 2-4A foe Rosa Fort. The Indians, playing at home April 4, routed the Lions 14-2 in game one and then lost the nightcap 3-1. That, coupled with Senatobia’s win over Lafayette the same day, ended Byhalia’s shot at a post-season berth.
