Indians let halftime lead slip away

It was an electrifying start for the Byhalia Indians Friday night – a touchdown on the opening kickoff.

But the Indians let a 20-17 halftime lead slip away on the home field and lost 38-20 to Independence.

“We’ve got a lot of first-year starters, and the kids just have to learn how to finish,” coach John Danley said. “We’re not there right now, but we’re going in the right direction.”
