The Holly Springs Hawks almost hit the century mark at Water Valley Tuesday night, Jan. 17.
Coach Sylvester’s Kilgore team crushed the Blue Devils 97-39 in the District 2-3A contest.
“It was a great team win – an important district win,” he said. “I saw some good things from our younger guys and noted improvement from my younger players, especially on defense.”
The Hawks flew out front 25-13 in the first quarter and led 44-23 at halftime on their way to the 58-point win.
