Holly High sweeps H.W. Byers

Holly Springs made the short trip to H.W. Byers Tuesday of last week and took a pair of games from its Marshall County rival.

DaQuan Smith and Rahmon Rutherford combined for 45 points as the Hawks beat the Lions 84-65.

Smith scored 26 points and Rutherford 19.

Also hitting in double digits for Holly High was Cori Bell with 10 points.

Ladarius Stinson pulled down a team-best 11 rebounds, while Daveon Miller grabbed eight.
