Hawks defeat Wildcats

Coming off a big victory over the Ashland Blue Devils, the Hawks looked to keep the momentum going on the road at Independence High School.

The Hawks defeated the Wildcats in blowout fashion, but the Hawks would find themselves on the other end of the stick dropping one to rival North Panola.

Colina Brown led the Hawks with 19 points. Richuad Kirklin netted eight, and Geoyl Ambrose shot seven points. Camron Isom and Jabez Jones both netted six and Arian Shelton put four points on the score board.

Brown finished with 19 points in the loss to North Panola. Isom netted 9; Jones scored 8; Jaylen Sims scored 6, and Kirklin and Jayden Williams each put three points in the net. Decameron Wells netted four points.

The Hawks are heading to Byhalia as they take on the Indians Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.
