Hard work paying off for Indians; team drops close one to Bulldogs

Byhalia’s trip to New Albany Thursday ended in a four-run loss, but in this case, it was a big building block for the Indians.

“I’m really proud of how our kids competed the entire game and stayed locked in versus a really solid New Albany team,” coach Hunter Gore said.

“We received several compliments from New Albany’s fans and coaches saying how drastically our team has improved overall,”

His Indians had lost 13-1 at home to the Bulldogs just two days earlier. But this time around, it was a battle and they dropped a 6-2 decision.
