Green Wave top Cardinals

The Potts Camp Cardinals took a two-game winning streak to Batesville to face the North Delta Greenwave.

The Cardinals offense scored each quarter in Friday’s game, but it wasn’t enough to keep up with the Green Wave losing 38-20. The Cardinals head home for a homecoming game with the Ashland Blue Devils Thursday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.

Raiders beat Patriots, 42-8 The Marshall Academy

Patriots traveled to Grenada to take on Kirk Academy. The Patriots looked to bounce back after losing to Magnolia Heights on Sept. 8, but the undefeated Kirk Academy Raiders were too much for the Patriots, winning 42-8. The Patriots host Indianola Academy Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. Tigers win against Indians

After winning their first game, the Byhalia Indians have yet to win another game in the early portion of the season. It got more challenging for the Indians as they hit the road to face off with Hernando High School. The Tigers defeated the Indians 52-0.

Holly Springs Hawks hosts Byhalia Sept. 22 p.m. At 7 p.m.
