Byers finished the 2021 campaign with a 6-4 record. Coach Chris Daniels’ squad fell a game short of making the post season, but you better believe the Lions are hungry for more
Coach Daniels said the keys to success for his ball club will be to lock into every game mentally and limit the mental mistakes. Daniels said he is hoping his team can stay healthy throughout the season as the Lions look to pull a few upsets on the season.
Some players to watch for Byers are: quarterback Michael James, running-back Vincent Tally, wide-receiver Jabari Wright, wide-receiver Houston Harris, and tight-end Mardarian Euell.
Coach Daniels and the Lions football team has playoff aspirations, and they are encouraging fans to come out to be a part of something special.
The Lions kick the season off August 26 at home vs Bluff City High School.
