Dailey named Academic All-District

Northwest sophomore second baseman Dakota Dailey has been selected to the Google Cloud Academic All-District 1 Baseball Team, as announced last Thursday afternoon by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Dailey was the only baseball or softball athlete to make the list in District 1 from the MACJC, which also consists of student-athletes from 21 other states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.

Entering the Region 23 playoff series against Mississippi Gulf Coast last weekend, Dailey was fifth on the team with a .315 batting average with seven doubles, a triple, four home runs and 16 RBIs during his sophomore campaign.
