Dailey to enter MAIS Hall of Fame

Craig Dailey led basketball teams at Delta Academy and Marshall Academy to 13 state championships and one overall crown.

For those efforts, he will be inducted into the prestigious Missis­sippi Asso­ciation of Indepen­dent Schools Hall of Fame in August.

But in his mind, the true rewards from those 22 years (12 at Delta and 10 at Marshall) are the relationships he built with his players.

“Being admitted into the MAIS Hall of Fame is an extremely humbling honor, but it is an honor made possible by countless players, coaches, administrators and fans who have played a part in the ‘We Believe’ program,” said Dailey, now the head boys coach at Tisho­mingo County
