“Before we had our first game this year, I made my players write down goals for the season. The number one goal for everyone was to make it to the playoffs,” Potts Camp volleyball coach Julianna Garner said. “I asked them if they wanted to be a part of school history in doing this. Of course, they agreed. We achieved that with this win.”

Carson Bennett had 20 kills, one ace, seven digs, two blocks, and nine points.

“Hard work pays off,” Bennett said. “It has not been the easiest season, but it has been the best.” “It feels awesome to be the first team in Potts Camp volleyball history to go to the playoffs,” said Charlie Holmes. “We have learned that we need to trust God, play for Him, and give Him the glory.” Holmes’ stats were one kill, 17 assists, one ace, five digs, and 10 points.

“These girls are constantly working and wanting to get better every day. Our volleyball program is blessed with athletes who want to get better and who want to achieve greatness,” coach Garner said. “We have worked on ourselves as a team to commit to giving it to God and giving Him all the glory for everything we achieve. Our motto is ‘next play.’ “
