Cards knock off Urchins

It came down to the last shot for Potts Camp Tuesday night, Feb. 6, and Micah Powers came through in the clutch.

He nailed a three at the buzzer on the home court as the Cardinals beat District 1-2A opponent East Union 66-65.

Potts Camp trailed 51-46 following three quarters but rallied down the stretch with Powers’ huge shot sealing the come-from-behind victory.

He finished with 20 points and four assists. Other top performers were Tavaccius Burnside with 16 points and seven rebounds and Trell Kimmons with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists.
