Cardinals dominate DeSoto Academy

The Potts Camp Cardinals got in one game during a wet week and coasted to a 15-run victory.

Coach Dustin Minor’s team scored 10 runs in the second inning on its way to a 16-1 win over DeSoto County Academy Tuesday, March 27.

The Cardinals upped their season record to 7-4.

Devin Sanders had a triple and two runs-batted-in during the big second inning.

Landon Houston had a single and two RBIs in that inning. Also getting a hit each in the second were Caleb Holmes, Nicholas Nichols and Devonta Pegues as Potts Camp pulled away from the opponent.
