Byhalia girls fifth in state

Several Byhalia athletes brought home first-place medals from the Class 4A State Track Meet Friday at Jackson.
Byhalia took top honors in the 4x100 meter relay (girls) and the high jump, long jump and shot put (boys). Overall, the Lady Indians placed fifth (with 36 points) out of 33 particating schools and the Indians 10th (with 34 points).
