Byers falls to Biggersville

It was a matter of just facing the facts for coach Chris Daniels after his H.W. Byers football team lost 45-0 to Biggersville Friday night.

“We were just out-matched,” he said. “That team is on a different level than we are.”

Biggersville remained per­fect at 9-0 overall and 5-0 in Region 1-1A. Byers fell to 1-8 and 0-5.

“They were just more athletic and more physical,” Daniels said. “They will make a long run in the playoffs.”

Two very talented backs lead Biggersville – Quamon Davis and Quonn Mayes.
