Byers boys knock off Mantachie

The H.W. Byers Lions got things rolling on the right track versus District 1-2A competition Thursday night.

They visited Itawamba County and knocked off Mantachie 82-75.

Kadamion Rhyan blistered the nets for 31 points as coach Brian Frenzel’s squad opened district play with success.

Also in double figures were Kaderious Rhyan with 24 and Michael Mabon with 14.
