Basketball Camp wraps up in Holly Springs

The free, two-day Basketball Skills Development Camp at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Center in Holly Springs was a very successful event with an impressive turnout from local youth. Held on December 3 and 7, the camp brought together elementary, middle and high school students for evenings of professional coaching, skill stations and friendly competition. Participants sharpened fundamentals like shooting, ball handling, defense and teamwork while building confidence in a supportive, high-energy environment. Organizers Darrel Thomas and Scotty Mason praised the enthusiasm of the athletes and the strong community support, noting the camp’s role in promoting youth development and recreation in Holly Springs.
