The Holly Springs High School Hawks played two games Wednesday, June 18, in the Marshall Academy Summer Basketball League. Coach Sylvester Kilgore's team faced both Myrtle and Northpoint Christian School in the 30-minute practice contests.
“It's been a productive summer,” said Kilgore, the veteran coach who returns for a second stint at Holly High after five years at South Panola. “I've learned a lot about our team, and I'm encouraged by what I saw.”
The Hawks also participated in summer league games at Ingomar, Lake Cormorant and Lafayette County.
