Winter Safety Day held for community

Sandra Hodges, a member of The Sunshine Ladies, from Holly Springs, has hit the ground again in a great way to help move the city forward.

As a North Mississippi Chapter Board Member Community Leader of American Red Cross, she presented a Winter Safety Day, on January 18, for the citizens of Marshall County and Holly Springs who received water filters and smoke alarms.

The American Red Cross Disaster Team and Rust College students volunteered and installed smoke alarms in homes.

Other organizations gave informational talks at the Marshall County Library concerning the water filters and how you can have clean and healthy water.

The Chapter would like to thank everyone who helped assist and serve on this day.
