Shelby Kate Roberts and Kaleb Andrew Reid to wed in December 15 ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Roberts of Searcy, Ark., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelby Kate, to Kaleb Andrew Reid, the son of Kerry and Kristi Reid of Holly Springs.

Shelby is the granddaughter of Sam and Nancy Shewmaker and Charlie and Martha Roberts, all of Searcy.

She is a 2014 graduate of Cross Pointe Preparatory School and is currently attending Harding University in Searcy, majoring in cognitive neuroscience and biochemistry.

Kaleb is the grandson of Dale and Kathy Reid of Benton, Ky., and Peggy Moore of Holly Springs and the late Jerry O. Moore Sr.

He is a 2015 graduate of Potts Camp High School and is a senior at Harding University, where he is a chemistry major. He is also a tutor and teaching assistant, and also works at Hourglass Escape Rooms as a game master.

The couple will say vows December 15, 2018, at the home of the bride’s parents  at 4 p.m.
