Kelsey Shaw and Davis Clayton to wed May 27 at Christ Church

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Shaw of Holly Springs announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelsey Olivia, to Davis Lee Clayton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Clayton of Okolona.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coughran of Southaven, Mr. and Mrs. John Bobicz of Holly Springs, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Shaw Sr. of Holly Springs.

Miss Shaw is a 2011 graduate of Marshall Academy.

She attended Northwest Community College receiving an Associate of Arts degree. She is a 2016 graduate of the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, receiving her bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

She currently teaches first grade at West Oktibbeha Elementary School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Thomas L. Davis Jr. and the late Mrs. Wilma Lane Davis of Houlka and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clayton of Tupelo.

Mr. Clayton is a 2010 graduate of Oak Hill Academy where he played football and baseball. He attended Mississippi State University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He is owner and agent of Davis Clayton Allstate Agency in Starkville.

The couple will exchange vows May 27, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Holly Springs. A reception will follow at Montrose.
