Kelsey Helm and Brody Martin to say vows in Nov. 10 ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Helm of Beebe, Ark., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Gayle Helm, to John Brody Martin of Red Banks.

Brody is the son of Steve and Ginny Martin of Red Banks. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Troy and Doris Clarkson of Colt, Ark.;   Vicki Helm of Beebe and  the late Drexel Helm.

Kelsey is a 2013 graduate of Beebe High School in Beebe and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas in 2017 with a bachelor’s of science in education. Currently, she is teaching at Marion High School in Marion, Ark. She plans to start her master’s degree in administration the spring of 2019.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Christine Martin of Waterford and the late Doug Martin; Carol Allen of Red Banks and the late Hardy Allen.

Brody is a 2013 honors graduate of Marshall Academy in Holly Springs. He is earning his bachelor’s degree in engineering technologies at the University of Memphis. Brody is employed at Contract Fabricators Inc. in Holly Springs as a project engineer.

The couple will exchange vows on November 10, 2018, at 4 p.m. The celebration will take place at the Martin family’s land in Holly Springs with a reception to follow. After the wedding, they will reside in Olive Branch.
