Bea Green, Vivian Smith, Pam Bray, Linda Seale, Diane Greer and Carol Karr recently returned from a girls’ trip to Kiawah Island, S.C. They enjoyed fantastic food, great shopping and, as always, incredible company.

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Grady Brooks. He celebrated his 15th birthday Monday.

Get well wishes to Thomas Stewart. He was hurt in Friday night’s football contest and will have a long road to recovery.

The Marshall Academy football team will host the first round of post season playoffs this Friday night against Deer Creek. Everybody come out and support one of your local teams!

Andy Burleson, of Tupelo,  has been seen at several Marshall Academy basketball games recently, cheering on his little sister, Erin. Saturday, Emma Burleson spent the morning in the gym of North Delta watching the junior varsity Lady Patriots before spending an afternoon of sister time with Erin.
