It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Holly Springs

Hamilton Moriarty of Bentonville, Arkansas, was the guest of her mother, Robin Seale, last week. The duo traveled down to Jackson to spend Thanksgiving with Ann and Ben Seale and children, Hallie and Ayden.

The Burleson clan celebrated Thanksgiving with their annual trip to the beach. They travelled to Perdido Key, Florida. Pam, Barry, Emma, Andy, Erin and Brooke Bullock enjoyed the beautiful weather and spending time together.

Get well wishes to Linda Jones who is spending a little time in the hospital. Hope you are up and with it soon.

Welcome to all of our tourists this weekend with the annual Christmas tour of homes! There are a lot of exciting things happening in town this weekend for guests, as well as for residents. The Marshall County Historical Museum is hosting its third annual Holly and Ivy Gala at Montrose Friday evening. This event benefits the museum and is sure to be a grand time with a silent auction, live band and hors d’oeuvres. The ladies of Belles and Books will have their annual luncheon at the Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery Saturday. The ladies will have copies of their cookbook, “A Chef’s Palate,” available for purchase. The annual Christmas parade is slated for Saturday night, too, around the square. Be sure to bring your children out to see Santa and all of the other floats. There are lots of fun things for everyone this weekend for sure. Remember, too, as Christmas approaches to support our local business owners by shopping with them! You just can’t beat the personal attention and help that our business owners give!
