Proud grandmothers attend wedding in Florida

Rowan Thompson of Dallas, Texas, was the guest of his sister, Kay Wheeler, and niece, Laura. While here, he got to visit with all of his friends. He went down to Oxford to meet up with James Martin Green to attend the Ole Miss - Auburn game.

Caitlyn Brooks and Trace Bray were the weekend guests of their “Baboo,” Kay Wheeler. They got to spend quality family time with brother Grady as well as spending time with all of their local friends.

Charlie and Caroline Grace Douglas, of Flowood, were the Friday night guests of his mother, Leigh Douglas. Saturday, Caroline Grace was treated to a hair appointment with master stylist, Camille Shaw, before heading back home.

Becky Cupp and Martha Fitch traveled south to the beach in Florida over the weekend. Their grandson, Trey Fitch, vowed marriage to his beautiful bride, Lacee Strickland. Congratulations to the happy couple and here’s to many fantastic years of wedded bliss!

Mary Glen and Patrick Carlton and children, Mary Grace and William, of Birmingham, Ala., were weekend company of Vicki and Walter Webb.

Big birthday wishes go out to Grady Brooks! He turns 17 Friday. If you see him, be sure to give him a Happy Birthday shake!

Marshall Academy Patriots football team travels to Brookhaven Friday for the first round of playoffs. Wish them well in their endeavors!
