Maia and Graham Richey welcomed a beautiful baby brother, Parks Harris, August 9. His proud parents are Cathryn and Drew Richey.

Becky Cupp became a great-grandmother last week with the birth of her first great-granddaughter, Oakley Elizabeth. Welcoming gorgeous Oakley with her mama, Lexi, were her grandparents Heather and Walker Cupp.

The Marshall Academy Patriots football team took care of business Friday night against the Lee Academy Colts from Clarksdale. The final score was 35-20, but did not show the physicality of that game. Both sides pushed and fought for every yard gained. The Patriots travel to West Memphis Friday night to play the Knights.
