Spud joins the Cupp family

Becky Cupp welcomed a new fur-baby Friday, Spud. He is a beautiful, black and white with few brown markings, basset hound. He was born in Oklahoma 10 weeks ago and has made his way to his forever home in Holly Springs. Congratulations on your new addition!

The Buchanan crew was out in full force Saturday night. Alice, Jim and Minor were all in the home of David Person, who had a social gathering. Many locals attended, old and new, and a fun time was had by all!

Alice Totten, Helen and Elliott Hopkins and Frank Hopkins were all spotted around town over the weekend. It speaks volumes of our beautiful piece of this country when former residents return “home,” even if just for a small visit. No matter how far one wanders, Holly Springs will always be home.

A new business is cropping up here in the former Connie’s Flowers building, Laura Jane Interiors and Design. The business is slated to open sometime in May, but will be having a popular pop-up shop April 27, 28 and 29. The Rug Man will be on hand with gorgeous Oriental rugs of all sizes and at fine prices. Be sure to stop in, introduce yourself and welcome this new addition to our growing number of amazing stores!

Last week, part-owner of Trashy Women, Lisa McCarter, posted a live video (which she does from time to time) from inside their store. It has had a complete facelift ~ all items can be seen beautifully now and what a variety they have available! Screen doors caught my eye, so I quickly made my way up there before they were snatched up by someone else. If you are looking for a unique piece of furniture, period glassware or just a little fun happy, pop in and visit.
