Big Happy Birthday wishes to Mary Catherine Hutchens and Tobe West. Welcome to the wonder world of adulthood!
Good luck to all of our city and county students who are taking the ACT Saturday.
Marshall Academy Patriots baseball team hosted Central Holmes late last week for a doubleheader. Zane Looney was hot on the mound the first game and the Patriots had their bats going. They shut out the Trojans 10-0 the first game, run ruling them in the fifth inning. They fell short in the second game, but played hard.
The second annual “Blue for Boo” was held Saturday. The cold and rain did not deter our community from coming together for such a wonderful cause. People packed in the VFW for amazing food and to bid on wonderful auction items. The proceeds from the benefit go directly to the Autism Center in Tupelo.
Linda and David Hinshaw are the parents of Bailey, aka “Boo.” Linda works tirelessly to bring awareness to all aspects of autism. Her dedication to this cause is awe-inspiring, as is her beautiful son, Boo. Our town may be small, but we are mighty when it comes to helping our own. Congratulations on another successful year!
