Montrose setting for Marshall Academy’s first Daddy-Daughter Sweetheart Dance

Congratulations to the Marshall Academy Lady Patriots basketball team. They handily took care of two opponents to cinch the District 1 AA championship. The varsity boys team fell short their first game against district rival Carroll. They took third in the tournament. Both teams travel to Benton Academy this week for the North-half AA tournament. Good luck!

Get well wishes go out to Reuben Campbell. He had back surgery last week and is convalescing with his daughter, Amy Potts, and her family. Hope you are up and with it soon; you are missed!

A big thank you to the Christ Episcopal Church men. Once again, they did not disappoint with their annual Fat Tuesday pancake supper! If you missed out this year, be sure to mark it on your calendar for next year. It is a fun time with wonderful food and fellowship!

Saturday night, Montrose was all lit up and full of beautiful young ladies dancing with their daddies. Marshall Academy held their first annual Daddy-Daughter Sweetheart Dance. The little girls arrived dressed to the nines, escorted by their dapper daddies. The event was extremely successful and families are looking forward to many more years of fun dances!
