Get well wishes to Becky Cupp

Hank Wheeler of Newnan, Ga., is spending the holiday with his children this week.

Get well wishes to Becky Cupp, who had a small procedure Friday.

Thank you to Chief Harris of the Holly Springs Police Department and Sergeant Perkins. They both heard valid concerns from a handful of local residents. Both men answered questions, as well as discussed their plans for helping to keep our town safe.

Marshall Academy basketball teams traveled to Senatobia to play Magnolia Heights last week. The atmosphere was quite electric, to say the least. The varsity girls gutted it out and brought home the win by three points. The varsity boys, however, fell short with a final of 45-54. The Chiefs come to the Frank Swords Gymnasium on Marshall Academy’s campus January 22. Mark your calendars, set timers or whatever you need to do to remind yourself. It would be amazing to pack the gym with locals to show Magnolia how everyone is behind these fine young ladies and men!

Melanie and Marty Bray of Cleveland and Mr. and Mrs. Kalkbrenner of Cordova, Caitlyn Brooks and Trace Bray of Cleveland, joined Kay Wheeler and her family Thanksgiving evening for a wonderful array of appetizers and fabulous fun.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! May your bellies be full and your blessings be countless.
