Lauralee Fant, Taylor Nowell and precious pup, Piper, visit family and friends here

Charlie Douglas of Flowood attended the Ole Miss homecoming game Saturday when the Rebels pulled up Vanderbilt’s anchor. After the game, he and son Chandler spent the night and visited with Leigh Douglas.

Lauralee Fant, Taylor Nowell and precious pup Piper, of Raleigh, N.C., were the weekend guests of Dianene and David Fant and son, Winston. They also got to visit with other Fant family members. Taylor’s parents, Linda and Jim Nowell and sister, Jordan, from Pearl, also joined in on the fun.

Caitlyn Brooks and Trace Bray of Cleveland, were the weekend guests of Kay and Laura Wheeler.

Congratulations to the Marshall Academy Patriots for riding the Green Wave of North Delta Friday night in Batesville. The team appeared to be no match for the mighty Patriots. They finish up regular season play this Friday night at Patriot Field against conference team Oak Hill. Kickoff is 7 p.m.. Come out and support these fine young men!

Rowan Thompson of Dallas, Texas, arrived Wednesday for a lengthy visit with his sister, Kay Wheeler, and niece, Laura. He will attend both the LSU and Arkansas games in Oxford while here.
