Congratulations to Grady Brooks! Friday afternoon, he graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science. He plans to attend the Officer’s Training Program with the Air Force. It wasn’t always easy, but it was definitely worth it!

The Marshall County Farmer’s Market had their kickoff for the season Saturday. The square was absolutely full of people meandering around the vendor booths and some just visiting. The bustle was a welcomed change! Be sure to pop up to the square every Saturday through Halloween to purchase anything from farm fresh eggs to locally sourced honey to homemade pork rinds and everything in between.
