Congratulations to the Marshall Academy Mock Trial teams led by Phillip Knecht and Sarah Taylor. After over a decade of no mock trial, Mrs. Taylor has brought it back and in a fine way. Both teams rocked the courtrooms Saturday in Tupelo against their competition. They advance to the state rounds at the end of this month in Jackson. Way to go and look forward to seeing what these young ladies and gentlemen accomplish on the state level.

Nathan Williams, a Marshall Academy fifth grader, competed in the MAIS Spelling Bee recently. Nathan placed 2nd in the 5th grade division, which catapulted him into the Overall Round where he was faced with competitors from 4th grade through 8th grade. Nathan placed a strong 3rd in Overall. Congratulations.
