Tammy Cupp and friends attend family wedding in Dallas, Texas

Friday night was electric in Rossville, Tenn. The Marshall Academy Patriots took the short hop up there to face off with Rossville Academy with the winner advancing to the 3A State Championship game this week. Patriot fans showed up in droves to cheer on their football team. The stands and fence line were shoulder to shoulder and loud. The Patriots struck first and often, taking the big win of 40- 14.

Thursday, the Patriots travel to Jackson to play Adams County Christian School. The winner will be the 3A State Champion. This is back to back visits for the Patriots. This group of young men have worked hard to get to the championship game once again. I hope everyone will come out and support them.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. at Jackson Academy this Thursday. Go, Pats, go.

The past weekend was absolutely one for the books for Tammy Cupp, her family and her close–knit friend group. They all traveled to Dallas, Texas, for the wedding of Tammy’s niece, Alexis Waxman.

The festivities began for the group Friday morning. Tammy lovingly hosted a bridesmaids luncheon at Le Bilboquet, a chic French bistro. Bridesmaids and special guests enjoyed having time to visit with the bride before the day took off.

Hôtel Swexan, a gorgeous boutique hotel located in the heart of the Harwood District in Dallas, was the backdrop for the wedding and reception. The venue was beautifully decorated with groupings of white florals galore, as well as white pillar candles and a black and white checked floor. Simply magical and Alexis was a vision.

Wedding guests had a scrumptious three course meal after the ceremony. Everyone danced the night away celebrating Alexis and Myles McCain on their big night.
