Sunday afternoon, Retro Rooster was the backdrop for a unique opportunity for Shelby Fitch, bride-elect of Jonathan Lindsey. Family and friends of Shelby gathered to wish her well on her upcoming nuptials. Shower goers helped Shelby pick and choose items throughout the store to go on her bridal registry.

Wonderful appetizers were served as well as tasty beverages. Cong ratulations to Shelby and Jonathan. Shelby is the daughter of Beverly Varadi and Jerry Fitch and the granddaughter of Becky Cupp and Martha Fitch.

Friday morning, Marshall Academy grandparents and friends were greeted in the Frank Swords gymnasium by smiling faces of the Student Council with coffee and muffins. The grandparents and friends of elementary students were treated to a fantastic program geared just for them. Each grade, beginning with the 3 year old kindergartners and ending with the sixth graders, performed affirmations of love either with dance, the spoken word or song. It was a special day to be on the campus for all of the visitors.
