Congratulations to Becky Cupp on adding a beautifully baby boy to her great-grand crew. Townes Reynolds Fitch was born June 23. He is the precious baby brother of Stetson, who is already enamored with him, and the son of Lacee and Trey Fitch, all of Nashville, Tenn.

Hip hip hooray to the swearing in of our new prestigious Mayor, Charles Terry, Monday afternoon. Terry has been a fair, steadfast and unwavering Supervisor for Marshall County until he sought the office of Mayor. He is a loyal man, one of fairness and integrity. On the Board of Supervisors, he helped bring about forward movement and major change within our county borders. I cannot wait to see the great strides he will bring to our fair city and to shine her in a positive light, something we have missed for the past four years. Congratulations to all of the municipalities on their swearing ins. May you all be diligent, fair and ring true to the statements you made while campaigning.

Juston Mask of Boise, Idaho, was the guest of his parents, Amy and Perry Mask, over the weekend. While here, he enjoyed time on the golf course with brother, Josh. He also spent time being wrapped around the finger of his adorable niece, Kinsley, as well as her mama, Jordan.

Get well wishes to Perry Mask, who underwent a hip replacement last week. I have to say he was getting around better than I just two days post op.
