Congratulations to Meredith and Neil Murphy on recent wedding

Happy, Happy Birthday wishes to Grace Bonds who celebrated Monday.

Congratulations to Meredith and Neil Murphy, who pledged their love for one another Saturday night. Their wedding venue was like something out of the pages of a magazine. It was held at the home of the groom’s parents, Susie and Harold Murphy. The tornado demolished everything in their back yard a year and a half ago. They rebuilt and it was absolutely picturesque.

Clay Pritchett officiated, standing under an archway donned with flowers on the diving rock. After a brief ceremony, the couple mingled and danced with their guests late into the night.

The food was served out of McCarty pottery pieces. There was a scrumptious variety of everything one could imagine for a true Southern wedding right down to tomato sandwiches. Meredith’s cake was the latest trend in wedding cakes, a “naked” one. Neil’s cake had a three dimensional duck atop it with a carefully placed shell beside it.

The couple left running through guests lining the drive with sparklers. A magical moment for a magical evening.

Here’s to reaching a ripe, old age together, Meredith and Neil. May you always look at one another the way you did Saturday night.
