The Grove at Ole Miss was packed down Friday with fans from Holly Springs on both sides of the field with the annual Egg Bowl. Thankfully the Rebels showed up and kept the trophy in Oxford. Better luck next season, Bulldogs.
This weekend, the ladies of Belles and Books have a treat for those of you not attending their annual Christmas luncheon. They are offering a Tour of the Tables at the Kate Freeman Clark Museum on College Avenue. Yearly, the ladies bring their decorating skills to transform the centers of tables into things of beauty. Each table is always different from the next and unique. It is truly a treat to be able to see the tables, as every year they are just raved over by everyone. Pop in the gallery Saturday, December 7, or Sunday, December 8, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for $10 to catch a glimpse and perhaps spark imagination of your own for a centerpiece.
