Bridal shower honors Taylor Blaker

Last weekend was a busy one in Holly Springs. Rachel and Sidney Briscoe, along with Lisa Liddy, threw a beautiful shower for bride to be Taylor Blaker. The Apothecary on the square served as the gorgeous backdrop. Guests were treated to an assortment of brunch fare. Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Taylor.

Nancy Jones travelled to Shiatook, Okla., last week. She was the guest of Brittany and Jake Jones and their beautiful baby, Harlow. Nancy got in all the granny smooches and snuggles.

Laney and Greg Gresham were accompanied by Maddie, Ollie and Mason Bennett to Orange Beach, Ala., for a week in the sun and surf. Ollie had a big time playing in the foam bubbles at the Hangout. While there, Maddie flipped a number ~ she is now three whole decades old. Happiest of birthdays to her and here’s to many more rocking it and looking as fabulous as you do.

Saturday night, the ladies of the Holly Springs Garden Club hosted Montrose Under the Moonlight. The evening was to present the 2025 Pilgrimage Queens and their escorts. Sophie Allred and Eliza Cavendar are Queens with Brody Kee and Brody McCord escorting. Eliza was knee deep in dirt battling for softball glory, so she was unable to attend. Sophie looked stunning in a white frock donning an ever so classic bow at the waist.

The event had a silent auction, a raffle for a stuffed to the brim upright freezer, the Pour Girls behind the bar and a live band for party goers to dance the night away. Everyone had a fabulous time celebrating the queens and their escorts.

It speaks volumes when you have support of your community and even louder when your headmaster dresses up to go to an event where a few of his students are honored. Jason Taylor is the one who will go out of his way to let his school children know he backs them in all of their endeavors even those which are community minded. There are not enough words to describe what a fine leader he is and how he is always showing up for support.
