Welcome to the world, Loftin West

Marshall Academy was well represented in the Grove at Ole Miss Saturday.

Saturday, the Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery was transformed into a beautiful blue and white dream to honor the upcoming arrival of Miles Murphy Pritchard. All of the finger foods were displayed on McCarty pottery pieces and included southern fare such as small round tomato sandwiches with homemade mayonnaise made by Margaret Laney, to die for open faced cucumber delights, Jennifer Thompson’s delectable petit fours, custom-made baby blue mints by Dinstuhl’s and a variety of other goodies. All of that was complemented by a refreshing champagne punch.

Mom to be, Regan Pritchard, was showered with gorgeous outfits and must haves for little Miles Murphy, which included his first custom hand painted cowbell.

The hostesses were Tiffany Babb, Nina Baker, Patti Baker, Lisa Childers, Tammy Cupp, Paquita DeBerry, Kathy Elgin, Dianene Fant, Suzanne Lafever, Melissa Westbrook and Angie Wilson.

A big congratulations to Olivia and Tobe West on the birth of their son, Loftin David West. He made his grand entrance into this world August 30th, weighing in at 5 pounds, 14 ounces and 19” long. Donna and Fred West are Loftin’s grandparents and sweet Frances Garner is his great grandmother.
