Church members enjoy Christmas treat thanks to a Secret Santa

Holly Springs has a Secret Santa. Several members from the First Baptist Church were treated to a chartered bus ride and tickets to Bellevue Baptist’s Singing Christmas Tree. The group started out Saturday, December 9, with lunch in Olive Branch. With varying palettes, Chik-Fil-A, Abbay’s and Freddie’s were all patronized.

Everyone was in awe and completely wowed by the phenomenal performance. It is definitely worth the trip to partake in this Christmas season.

Correction: The Marshall County Historical Museum hosted the annual Holly and Ivy Ball at the Montrose. Thanks to Jim Moore, director of the Musuem, this event was a huge success.

Happiest of birthday wishes to Judge Kent Smith and son, Brennan. They enjoyed a family birthday dinner Sunday evening with an ever popular homemade cake by Betty Whaley. Their birthdays were Monday and Tuesday respectively. Here’s to many, many more of being two amazing humans and one who is now on the roads.
