Grace Bonds (“Glam”) was the bird whisperer Monday, taking full advantage of Columbus Day. Grandson, Paxton Clark, and his mama, Wynne, accompanied Grace to the Safari Wild Animal Park in Como. They all enjoyed feeding animals, the petting zoo, wagon ride and a variety of bird species.

Congratulations to the Lady Patriots of Marshall Academy. They cinched the 4A State Title Saturday at home on Gibson Field, taking down Amite in a best two out of three battle. Back to back championships is no easy feat. Here’s to enjoying some welcomed time off, ladies.
