Lola Nowell welcomed her baby brother, Steven Warner Nowell, into this world June 16, 2023. Warner weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20” long. Surprisingly enough, those were his big sister’s exact measurements when she was born. Beaming parents are Lauralee and Taylor Nowell, local grandparents Dianene and David Fant and greatgrandmother, Lola Faye Dickerson.

Marshall Academy’s class of 2013 celebrated a decade of freedom from high school over the weekend. The Kate Freeman Clark art gallery was decorated in all things royal blue and red. Classmates enjoyed reminiscing with one another about the good old days while enjoying a great variety of pickup foods, as well as mingling with spouses of the class.

Congratulations to Shelby and Kyle Simpson on the birth of their beautiful twin girls. The babies came home over the weekend where they were able to meet lots of cousins (first friends some would say), family and friends. It is more than obvious Hartley Kate and Marcie Mae will be loved beyond measure.

Hedgefarm was turned into a gorgeous sea of flowers and amazing food Saturday night for the wedding of Erin and Canaan Pearson. Guests had a marvelous time dancing the night away and celebrating the happy couple! Rarely do you see high school sweethearts go on in this world to make a life together. Erin and Canaan are the epitome of just that! Here’s to decades of loving one another and living a beautiful life y’all have already started.

Paxton Clark of somewhere around Tupelo (I can never remember) is spending the week at Glam Camp. While here, he will become a master at fort building, hone in on his swimming skills and most of all, enjoy spending time with his fabulous Glam, Grace Bonds, and her brood, Bella, Jess and Juicy.
