Locals attend Ron White show in Tunica

Holly Springs was well represented Friday night in Tunica at the Ron White show. Kay Wheeler, Maia Miller, Robin and Ben Seale, Michelle and John Stuber and Susan and Reggie Holley all had a grand time listening to the comedian. They enjoyed a delicious dinner at Jack Binion’s prior.

Congratulations to the Marshall Academy Junior High cheerleaders on their incredible feat the first night of UCA cheer camp at Mississippi State. The squad of 10 walked away with the spirit banana and the spirit stick! Way to go, girls!

This summer, the Marshall Academy varsity boys basketball team, coached by Sam Pearson, has been hustling. They have played two weeks at Northpoint Christian and one week at Center Hill. They have shown that through adversity, rises warriors. They battled during every single game, never once giving up.

Vivian Smith and Vicki Webb spent a few days in Birmingham, Ala., with Mary Glen and Patrick Carlton and children, Mary Grace and William. The duo brought Mary Grace home to attend Camp Mississippi.

Alea and Layla Farese, of Oxford, spent the weekend with their grandparents, Vivian and Eugene Smith. They enjoyed spending time with their cousin, Mary Grace Carlton.
