Friends of MA begin annual fundraiser

SEC baseball season opened up last week. Ole Miss hosted Delaware at the end of the week for their series opener. The Rebels handily sent Delaware packing, showing not only how deep they are offensively, but defensively as well with incredible pitching.

Marshall Academy’s Friends of MA are getting ready to crank up their annual 30 for 30 Gun Raffle fundraiser. Tickets will be available for purchase at the beginning of March. Sales run through the end of the month, with the drawings beginning April 1. Each day, a lucky winner will receive that day’s listed gun. A big thank you to The Range - TGC Outdoors in Abbeville for supplying the guns for the raffle.

The styles vary from pistols, rifles and shotguns. On the last day of April, all gun winner tickets will be placed back in the wheel for a chance to win $300 cash.

Get to feeling better wishes to Ann Carpenter, who is in the swing bed unit in Water Valley. You can’t keep a good woman down and she is one of the finest!
