Klohas visit Holly Springs and bring beautiful holiday arrangements

Delilah Bray of Olive Branch spent Saturday night with Kay Wheeler, her greatgrandmother; Mary Clay Brooks, her grandmother; and Laura Wheeler, her aunt. She enjoyed going to the pool, reading books and swimming.

Friday afternoon, the Klohas made a stop into the office for a little visit. Debbie (Hallman) of Chicago, Ill., Carole (Elliott) of Tupelo and Rick of Chicago, were a sight for sore eyes. I had not seen Debbie for sure in decades and Rick nearly as long. It was such a refreshing surprise to see their smiling faces heading into the holiday weekend. Debbie brought in three Fourth of July arrangements with beautiful red and white Gerber daisies. Their visit was a great way to kick off the holiday weekend.

A big thank you to CFI and the Chamber of Commerce for the amazing fireworks display Thursday night from Spring Hollow Park. You could see them from every direction on the outskirts of town. One of the best shows I have seen in a long while. Not enough credit goes to putting on something like that, as it is a major undertaking to put the proper safety measures in place, not to mention the cost of the event. I am one thankful resident for both the Chamber and CFI continuing this family friendly tradition.
